Family History Page

Although this site is primarily intended for the local history of Epsom and Ewell we appreciate that some visitors will have stumbled on this site while researching their family tree. It takes a great deal of time and effort to transcribe old records and put them into a form that can be readily converted into web pages. We are fortunate to have teamed up with Epsom & Ewell Local & Family History Centre (Opens in a new window) and are putting some of their records on line. At present we have the following records online:

We have also added a few pages of information that may be of interest to family history researchers. You may need Adobe Reader to view some of the links, this software can be downloaded free from Adobe. All external links open in a new window.

We are unable to undertake research into family history nor topics of limited interest, for example the previous occupants of a home with no known celebrity connection. In these cases we recommend that you contact the Epsom & Ewell Local & Family History Centre (Opens in a new window) whose excellent volunteers are waiting for your enquiry.
