Details of 1911 Proprietor The London and Provincial Bank existed until 1917, when it was taken over: it was subsequently merged into Barclays.

Managers of the London & Provincial came and went but it seems that Mr Masters lived over the shop for some years as the resident clerk in charge and then became the manager. He was born c.1872 in Dartford, Kent; his brother Harold, also a bank clerk, was in residence in 1911. Thomas married in 1902 Eveline Miriam A Phillips (1874-1939). Died 22 September 1947, then living at 20 Longdown Lane, Ewell.

Details of building, where known Late 16thC and early 17thC of 3 different periods of construction with late 18thC bow windows. From 1824-1903 it was also the Post Office. It became a bank in about 1904.
