|Details of 1911 Proprietor||Born 1875 Ewell, son of James Cracknell, butcher. Married 1899 Edith Maud Gould (born c. 1871 Epsom, died 1923 Epsom Cottage Hospital). Children - Gwendolen May (1902-1991, married Percy James Ivall (divorced) and then John D White) and James William (1906-85, married Alice Florence R Baker (died 1931) and May Ivall). Married 1923 Lilian Matilda Cashman (1877-1963). Died 28 December 1956, then residing at Lyndhurst, Chessington Road, Ewell. James William Junior was also a butcher and his reminiscences, which have helped immensely with this project, are here.|

2½ storeys in yellow brick with a slate roof and gable end to the road. Modern shop front to ground floor. Two six pane sash windows with gauged brick heads to first and large casement windows set in later brickwork above. Out-buildings to side and rear in timber, brick and flint with slate and tile roofs. From mid 19thC.
